Ok i have downloaded TAD 1.1 fanpatch, but would like someone to help out. I would like to be able to still play nilla. | |

u need fp 2.0 pal and just follow the instructions and u will be fine | |

Swapping the game data folder is easy, simply select the original Age of Empires 3.app, right click and show package contents. Now open the Contents folder. Open the Resources folder. Open the Game Data folder. Inside this folder there is yet another folder called data all in lowercase. Remove this folder and rename it something you will recognize, this is your Vanilla data folder. Mine is named AOE3 Data on my computer. Now install Fan Patch. Again, select the original Age of Empires 3.app, right click and show package contents. Now open the Contents folder. Open the Resources folder. Open the Game Data folder. Inside this folder there is yet another folder called data all in lowercase. This folder should be highlighted blue where the text is. Remove this folder and rename it something you will recognize, this will be your TAD+TWC+FP data folder. Mine is named AOE3 Data FP. Now that you have two copies of both folders all you have to do is switch between the two for either Vanilla or Fan Patch. To do this, select the original Age of Empires 3.app, right click and show package contents. Now open the Contents folder. Open the Resources folder. Open the Game Data folder. Now place either the Vanilla data folder or the TAD+TWC+FP data folder into the opened Game Data folder. Rename the folder data and your set. Remove the folder after the game or continue playing on either patch. | |
