dear everybody

please stop sending me fanmail.

i can't thank you enough for all the kind words but i simply cannot answer everyone indivdually.  there's just too much mail coming in.

please, from now on, post your praise in this public place!

also, as for questions- ask away!  your questions can be about anything; the game, life, that funny feeling you get when i'm near you, anything.

i will pick particularly excellent questions and answer accordingly.

please keep your comments and questions in a 'dear gabe' format.

also, one more thing:

hugs and kisses, gabe

I'm very sorry, but poor english will not tolerated in this thread.

Also, didn't you ask (again) to join Legion the other day?  You must be so lonely.

I really think you should head over to my 'Newb vs Noob' thread and familiarize yourself with these two terms, little guy.  I fit neither of them.

Thanks for the question!  Oh wait...

dear court, mags, and the rest of you

i see that this dancing fat has captivated your hearts as he has mine!

to answer your question, i could point you to online resources instructing you how to work towards a split.  i could provide you books and web sites that would explain exactly what this guy's doing, the history and hey, maybe i could even give you a few cut-a-rug dancing lessons.

but the truth is, you just gotta have HEART.

i encourage you to find a hot mama much like this amazing fat man has, a ladybird who wants to make you dance. the sweet moves will come out on their own.

thanks for the question!

keep em coming.

Dear Gabe,

I have a couple questions for you to answer for myself:

1. Deal, or No Deal?

2. Can you dance like that man up at the top?

3. If you were an animal what animal would you be?

Thanks for your time Gabe.

Wow!  A multi-part question!

Dear Deathboy

First off, it pleases me greatly you are now a humerous, fun, and sane player on gr.  You have come full circle, sir.  Well done.

Now, to your question!

OBVSLY, the deal or no deal would be decided by, in fact, if i can dance like that large man or not.  (Though, to be honest, we already covered a question on this dancing dichotomy.)  The answer to THAT question is- you bet your sweet opposable thumbs I can.

If i were to be an animal, again, like this waltzing walrus up top, I am a pretty sure I'd be a sexy beast.  Dead sexy even.  Stuff me, and put me on your wall dead sexy.

For being a dead, sexy beast, I sure am lively, no?

If we have an accord, then we got a deal!

Thanks for the questions, Crimestoppers!  Keep them coming.

Dear Landers

I am very pleased you have mastered your fear enough to come forward with this question.

The answer is this: you do not suck.  Who told you this?  Maybe, more importantly, why do you FEEL this way?

Now, you COULD just be looking for unwarranted world wide web watershed waxing, but something tells me you're not simply looking for compliments, which leads me to the heart of the matter.

Are you ok, Landers?  Do you need a hug, big guy?

Who told you you weren't good enough?  Who have you been comparing yourself to?  Those vids make other players looking at least twice as big as they really are. ><   I mean better, as least twice as better.

Look at it this way (I do): Something tells me you have a life outside of GR and gaming in general.  You probably don't put in HALF the time as some of the players we see who consistently cause us all headaches, and then say and do subversively arrogant things to back up the fact that yes, they're quite good...yet, you regularly put up JUST as good a fight as them.  Catch my drift yet?

You're about as good as you're going to get without really giving up your social life and devoting more headspace to, of all things, a silly computer game. And you are quite good.

Besides, if you think you're no good, how does that reflect on my sweet skills?

So cheer up, champ. We're all here for you.

why does the caged bird sing?

Dear Love, my trusted and true

Is this a metaphor for something else?  Something deeper?

Do you own birds?  Are you feeding them properly?  Changing their newspaper regularly?

A caged bird sings to let you know that it is not dead.  Duh.

NowI COULD delve deeper; I could contemplate my life and my feelings ofbeing traped or caged, and the stregth I gained from perserverance.  Icould apply these deep deep truths to your life and together, runningthrough sweet summer grass, we could find the answers you seek.

But I will just simply say: What ELSE has the bird got to do?

SING!

Dear Gabe,

Recently, I caught my boss who I'll call "Edward" pocketing some of the money from our "cash registers" after hours.  I would "report" him to our manager, but there is a "catch".  "Edward" is a long time family "friend" and he is very close to my mother.  She "helped" support him when he was going through "tough" times, and she would be very dissappointed if she ever found out that he had reverted to "stealing" again.  It might ruin "their" friendship, and I would never want to "do" that to my mother.  However, I also am being hurt financially when "Edward" steals from our register.  Should I out him in order to save myself a "few" bucks, but potentially ruin my mother's "special" friendship with him?

Sincerely,

Uncertain in San Francisco

I know I'm "not" Gabe, but if this "was" a true situation then you should tell your boss but make sure you do it anonymously so you do not lose your "friend" and you mum is not mad at "you".
