ok guys stop fighting and answer the question in 10seconds: what does your name mean? some has ordinary name, but i'm not sure if its a real name. some guys have really interesting name(like gu4U, mimandel). why did you name yourself in that way? i mean it i really want to know :-P me: MiesVan: came from dutch/german/american architect Mies van der Rohe. i like his works CarstenNicolai: came from german noize musician. i like his works. | |

My name comes from a fantasy book I read. Its a mighty spirit caught in the skeleton of an old dead British MP jumping over the roofs of London while causing a lot of havoc and destruction. Its also a Roman emperor, but hes kinda lame and there are a few popes that share the name. I also use Colonel Corrupt because I want to be a Latin-American dictator :P. | |

ok first my name(ripred) comes from a book/series i read in 6th grade. My other name Fullmetal is the nickname of a character in a manga im reading/ read. Second a question for honorious would the series you were talking about happen to be the the Bartamaeus (or how ever you spell that name) trilogy. Have you finished it yet if it is? | |

ah my names. A very very very long time ago i was called lord bain, this name came to be because i am a super batman fan and the bad guy named Bain was tough ruthless and never gave up. I changed it to acidtrip during my more famous times on GR. I take a fair share of trips for the existential experiences, and also for the good times i have with many people i trip with. My current name is minus. This name was to almost help myself and others i guess. One of my clanmate's father was looking over his shoulder at the game we were playing. He asked who was on his team and who he was facing. The player responded with Landers, and Acidtrip...Now being a child once i know that if my dad knew i was talking, or even playing with a person named Acidtrip, that there would be some talking to and maybe even a little punishment. So i thus changed my name to shield my clan mates with younger minds and watchful parents. But you still ask " why Minus?" Well my friends it merely roles off the tongue now doesn't it | |

I think my first name was mathemagician, I study maths, and I like the pun. But for years I've been Hastings now. I'm very interested in medieval anglo-saxon history, so calling myself after the most important battle on the british isles seemed like fate | |

So back in my Star Wars Battlefront days, there was my clan, -[JCA]-, a couple other clans, and ELD, our main rival. When all the members of ELD changed their names to things like wrath, greed, gluttony, sloth, hate, and malice, everyone in -[JCA]- changed their names to things like happiness, love, fortitude, peace, joy, and piety. I was named Aiolos at the time, which is greek for "swift foot" I suppose, but I got to be Love when we changed. Most people changed back after the gimmick was over, but my name stuck. | |
