ps3 = best hardware but I can't manage it xbox360 = fastest console but Im bill gates child, so every mac user should "booo" Wii = funniest and most "social", but hell, nintendo could have done a slice effort for eye-candy… | |

PS3 = Fail. Very powerful console, free online, but terrible community. Xbow 360 = Fail, good community, good exclusives, but shitty, glitchy, console with far too many hardware AND software issues, like all Microsoft products. Wii = wtfbbqfail PC = Win. If I could just hook up my PS3 controller to my Mac and play PS3 games on it, I'd be in heaven. | |

Actually xbox360 almost always diplay better/faster graphics than the ps3 (same game comparaison)… Sony gave their console a better hardware but for the moment, the games can't exploit it. But honnestly, there is not really a "failing" console. I guess the difference really lies in which game you want to play, and if you are addict to some "console only" game serie (halo or w/e). For me the advantage of console over PC is that their are cheap, and kinda more "social". You and your friends are all playing in the SAME ROOM, looking at the same things. Never laught so much when we were playing MicroMachine on N64 with friends, for exemple… a PC game never gave me so much social fun (i usually never laught out loud alone in the front of my computer screen). In this regard, I think the Wii is the best console. Okay graphics are crappy and games look childish (well it's Nintendo you know) but Nintendo have always succeed to make very good/fun gameplay and with this new system of control (which i personnally suck at it, i master much better good old pad) a lot of people who usually never play console give it a try. So i think you are wrong Paladin, Wii is much less childish than the 2 others (casual gamer friendly) | |

Except Wii has sold the most systems between the 3 consoles, so it actually isn't failing in any way what so ever. | |

court i dont think they were talking about it failing in how much sold, but actually talking about how much it fails as a console because of things such as not the best graphics and not many good games for it. | |

it all depends on the gamer, if your 5-13 boy or girl, wii is more generally "attractive" because of nintendo targeting younger and old (skipping the teenager to 20's gamers) players. if you look at the games they advertise, xbox and ps3 are obviously more focused on the young men category, with the famous 3rd person and first person shooters, while nintendo is more focused on games like mario party and just dance, which is more of the younger, and middle aged gamer's tastes. i like fps and 3ps games, so i like xbox, and only dislike ps3 for the hell of it, no real reason, just a coca-cola and pepsi kinda thing, while nintendo is the fruit juice box (yes that). | |

Well they obviously are doing something right, cause they are selling the most consoles, as well releasing games that are good. Sure you may not find the wii balance board your idea of "fun", but it doesn't down right make it a failure. Wii's in general may not be your cup of tea, but you can't deny the numbers, people love the wii. I'd say that's anything but a failure. | |

sorry you took my opinion of the wii being "fail" AFTER i made my most recent post seriously, but it was a joke, i know who sells more consoles. i know nintendo has sold as many wii's as microsoft and sony have sold xbox's and ps3's combined. i used to have a wii, and sold it for an xbox, because i was bored of the games wii was putting out, and xbox looked more attractive to ME, bubt dont get me wrong, i enjoyed games like Okami and Smash bros and MLB the Show 09 for the wii, but i jsut prefer the new fps and rpg's like mdw2, halo, mass effect, and dragon age. | |

No, were on the same page. You have to get a console that fits your play style, which was my whole point. Like me, I'm into zombie games, so Xbox 360 for me. But just because I'm not a fan of the wii, I know that it is not in the "fail" category of systems. | |

I guess we all +/- agree. Just a thing iCourt. I don't think you can say "a lot of people buy it, so it's a good thing". Since some years the marketing evolved so much, and some products which have the quality of a big poop just become very very popular (*points at Avatar*). In fact the whole problem in which market segment you are in. Wii have games which are really easy to get, controls are appealing, but a lot of games on it lack of depth. I think all the hardcore gamers, which really know a lot of games and are much more exigent for the quality of them should prefer xbox or ps3. Now all casual gamers, which prefer to play console to have some exercices and some fun with friends, but aren't that much into gaming, should prefer Wii. | |
