Lots of feedback for the tournament. I think we can decide this as a community. Post with your opinions! 1. Losers bracket (yes/no?) 2. Games per match (best of 1, best of 3, best of 5, best of 7?) 3. Submitting wins (screenshot? .rec file?) | |

1. Yes i think there should.Im not in the tournament due to the fact that my comp went all wierd on my ass. But the will just make it so that ppl paired against ppl better than them can have some more fun in the tournament. Since these only happen rly every half a year the more fun u have out of it the better. 2.For games i think best of 3 is probably the best. 1 game just reqires someone to have one good strat and thats pretty much it. Best of 5 or 7 just take more time and is too tedious for some that dont have the time. This may be summer but some ppl have other things to do and a 4th or 5th game isn't rly necesary. 3 games is enough of a test of skill. 3.For submitting wins i think either a screenshot or a should be fine for this. Whichever one is easier since some ppl (including myself last tourney) often forget to take screen shots so just hitting a button at the beginning might be easier. No need to listen to me if u dont want. I just posted this cause i was bored. I wish i could play in the tourney but i cant so all i have to say is that i hope all you guys will have fun! Also to anyone who feels like it post who you think will win the tourney. I think it will be basher, i just have a feeling. | |

I think over all basher or tkd will win. I still think vozohe, me, mike, peyton, and a few others could go on to the 3rd round. | |

1. Yes I'm gonna lose in the first round, and only 3 games is boring 2. Final BO7, semi-final BO5, other BO3 3. Rec So people can watch interesting games later, and mac aoe needs more rec; I'm against allowing obs maps. After the tourney is over, some recordings can be a treasure for the community whereas all the screenshots will just be trash other than becoming personal brag-tools about nice wins (I would lol). Also, is the reviving explorer thing considered a cheat? I think you should make it clear. If so, how are u planning to prevent it without rec? If it's not a cheat or you think it can be overlooked, then I suggest we let EVERYONE know how. Personally, I think we should accept that it can't be prevented and won't be fixed for a while, so just share how with everyone and start using it as part of the game. Only certain people using it without opponents' knowledge makes it unfair the most. | |

Yes explorer-reviving-glitch is a cheat. If proved that the opponent did that (like via .rec), you can choose to disqualify your opponent from the entire tournament. b07 and b05 will be looked into in terms of software capabilities. | |

just for all of you who dont know the whole explorer reviving trick is when your explorer dies you can click on him and hit i think it si option 8 to revive him. However if u do this then your explorer barely has any sight at all for the rest of the game so it does come at a price. So doing this really makes your explorer an explorer no more. | |
